If You Don't Know Me By Now....
Then you will never ever ever know me.... I know that you were thinking it when you read the title. Its funny how an old song by Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes can say so much and be so true. I mean if you don't know me by now after all this time you will never know me. You should be able to look at the way people have acted in the past or things they've done to let you see what type of person they are now, the police do it in investigations. I know people change sometimes but there should be evidence of that too.They say those who don't know the past are destined to repeat it. I find the way people look at life very weird. Some people take everything they've learned through their time of existence and in an instance throw it all to the wind. Why? you ask, i have no idea. Love and life isn't about trust its about knowing what people are capable of good or bad. Lets think about people you've known for years like your mom. I know that when i was a child if i acted up i could expect a whipping but i knew my mom would never drive me off a bridge, that's because i know her. Now lets think about a guy you just started dating a month ago, what do you know without a doubt about him? nothing. I don't fool myself into thinking that just because you've known a person for years their trustworthy though but i do believe that lets you know what type of person they are. There's an old saying that's says if you'll steal, you'll kill. I use to think that's the dumbest thing i ever heard but actually it gives you insight on a persons character. Think of it this way sin is sin, and if a person can get enough courage to take something that doesn't belong to them and not feel guilty then that leaves the door open for anything. Its about morals and you either got them or you don't. I know we all make mistakes and bad decisions at times but its all in how you handle it. If you step on someones foot do you apologize or say nothing? If you hurt someones feelings do you care or not? Do you continually do things you know are wrong and never feel guilty or try to change or correct yourself? I always tell people i know what i know and can't nobody tell me no different and its not me being stubborn but you have to stand for something or you will fall for anything. Beware of wolves in sheep clothing's, just because it walks like duck and quacks like a duck don't make it a duck nowadays. The Bibles says "For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree
bring forth good fruit". So basically it can walk like a duck, quack like a duck but if it ain't laying no duck eggs its not a duck. Things have to add up and it you find that they don't you must reevaluate. Two and two doesn't equal five. I promise you all that glitters ain't gold and we must not let ourselves be fooled. I'm not going to ask people to trust me because the Bible says put your trust in no man, but if you know me you should know what i'm capable of.

Thats Whats Up
Two of my favorite artists have albums coming out and if you don't know them where have you been? Drakes title track "Take Care" has amazing honest lyrics which the rapper has become known for. Everyone can relate to a song made by Drake thats why his highly anticipated album has recently been leaked. There isn't much to say about Drake because his music speaks for him like a storybook on his life and i can't wait to turn the page.

The Gym Class Heros have been a favorite of mine since "Cupids Chokehold". Their new song "Stereo Hearts" ft Adam Levine has made me love them even more since i am a big Maroon 5 fan, it was truly a match made in heaven. Travie McCoy is no joke either from his solo album to being a very hot front man he is making his mark. They remind me of Limp Bizkit meets Wiz Khalifa and they made a really hot baby.

Why Do People Lie?
Let me rephrase this question, Why do grown ups lie? I know that kids lie because they have parents who can beat them or put them on punishment. O.K. maybe in life there are instances where you feel like you have to lie, like to the police. I'm talking about the lies people tell for no reason at all. For example no i didn't sleep with her, hey if you want her be with her you ain't got to lie. The ones i hate the most are the liars that pretend to be your friend, the ones that pump you for info so they can twist every word you say. Folks are quick to say I'm grown but if you are in fact an adult know this the difference between an adult and a child is the ability to take responsibility for your actions. We all mess up sometimes, no ones perfect but you can't correct your mistakes if don't admit you've made any. Maybe people lie because they are to childish to just apologize. I want to say to all the adults out there grow up. No one in this world has a heaven or hell to put you in. So what you messed up and you got caught, but you can't change it, just admit it, apologize and ask for forgiveness. If you admit to your mistakes, apologize and ask for forgiveness but people still don't forgive you its o.k because you did the right thing. You owe it to yourself to be honest because when you lie you aren't being yourself , you're being a lesser version of yourself to please or deceive others. Don't go changing to try and please me let me love you the way you are. If you find people can't appreciate your honesty or can't handle the truth so what? Life is about you, everything we do has consequences and I'd rather be on karma's good side because what goes around comes around.

Fool Me Once Shame On You
You've heard this saying before "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." We often allow ourselves to get fooled by people. We let others convince us that the doubt or suspicion in our minds is just a fabrication of our imagination. You have enemies that are pretending to be your friends but you really don't trust them. Sometimes you don't know who to believe and loyalty is a thing of the past. So how do we prevent being fooled? Sometimes you can't but its important to realize when you've been fooled so you can recognize the signs next time. I saw it coming, the lies because deep inside i knew the truth but i didn't heed to warnings and in return i got hurt again. It took me to actually catch the guy i was suppose to be seeing kissing another woman for me to move on. Even after seeing messages in his phone and watching him openly flirt with other woman. Everytime he said it wasn't me i believed him or at least i wanted to so i did. You don't want to be someone else's fool. You don't want to settle for less. I'm not just limiting this to love but to all relationships, family and friends be nice but be real. So what we ain't besties, So what we can't still have sex, So what he don't call, So what you have to give up on things you've wanted to be happy its worth it , Who cares if they like you or not? You don't, I don't because life goes on whether certain people are in your life or not and it just might be for the best. People may have fooled you once but its up to you to not let it happen again. They say if you love something let it go and believe me if its meant to be in your life it will comeback.
