We all forget the real meaning of christmas sometimes but God always brings us back to the real, that we all should be grateful for all the things he has blessed us with. In an instance everything can be gone and not just your money or things, your life, your family and your friends. The presents don't make Christmas what it is, people make Christmas what it is. You are suppose to be celebrating the day God sent his son in the world to live us amongst us and eventually die for our sins. You already have your gift, the gift of forgiveness and the gift of life. So when you are sitting around opening up presents and thanking people for those presents remember to thank God for the greateast gifts of all. When Christmas is over don't just go back to being ungrateful or unkind, keep the feeling you have right now today. I have had my share of ups and downs. I've been sad, i've been broke, i've been mad, i've been hurt and thats only in the past week but i read a fortune cookie yesterday that said "If you will continually give, you will continually have." I realized that i don't have to want for anything, if i do whats right God will supply my needs. The real meaning of Christmas is being thankful for the gifts that are free.

Aquila
Psalm 100
1Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
