In the Han Dynasty Longwei Tao a great warrior
was said to have slayed the nine dragon children and stolen their essence. Each
dragon was said to hold a different power. The first son
is called Bixi, he had the
power of strength. The second son is called Chiwen, he had to the power to magnify and extend his
vision to various levels. The third son is called Pulao, he had the power of song the dragon cry which released
pheromones to the opposite sex. The fourth son is called Bi'an, he had the power to harness
chi which
provides extraordinary strength, speed, durability and reflexes. It also provided
the person who harnessed its powers with superhuman awareness, energy blasts,
elemental powers and invulnerability.The fifth son is called Taotie, he had the power to absorb or
copy another’s skills or powers. The sixth son is called Baxia, he had the power to heal. The
seventh son is called Yazi, he had the
power of mortal combat. The eighth son is called Suanni, he had the power to create fire. The youngest is called Jiaotu, he had the power of
invisibility. He spent his entire life trying to harness the power of the
essence of the dragon but he could never figure it out. Before Longwei died he combined the
essence of each dragon and put it in a medallion shaped vial and hid it. He
knew the essence could be dangerous in the wrong person’s hands. The vial was
said to be held in a secret cave on mountain Shishapangma. Longwei drew a map
to the cave where he hid the vial but the map was never found, the boy read.
